Description:
Majorcan cured sausage known for its smooth and spicy taste and its spreadable texture -similar to a chorizo pâté-. A large amount of paprika gives the sobrassada its unique colour and flavour.
Spread it on a slice of bread and, for those who like to experiment, grill it with a slice of cheese on top. There are many ways to use this product in cooking, which mainly revolve around the preparation of sauces for pasta and rice and as a filling for meat and vegetables.
This sobrassada has been made by the third generation of a Majorcan supplier who has been producing cured meats typical from the island since 1945.
