Behind this delicacy there is the expertise and tradition of the fourth generation of an Asturias farming family. This is a cheese that boasts a personality of its own, like the land where it comes from.
Made with cow and goat’s milk, it has been left to mature for a minimum period of 30 days. Afterwards, it has gone through -literally!- a smoking process with apple tree wood, a very typical variety in the area. The result is a soft, mellow cheese, with an intense smoked aroma that penetrates exquisitely in its taste.
